Our Programs

We are thrilled to facilitate a number of local programs, including weekly community game nights, outdoor recreation opportunities for families, and entertainment events focused on supporting local businesses. In addition to our regularly scheduled programs, we also plan and host a number of event series that help us further our mission. Additional details on our program and event series can be found below, and event dates can be found under our “Schedule” page in the navigation bar.

Why We Do It

Our programs help us further our mission by providing entertainment and recreation opportunities to the local community. We’re so passionate about this mission because we acknowledge the ways that seemingly simple entertainment can improve quality of life, promote the development of social bonds and supportive community, and even stimulate the local economy. The best part? All you have to do is show up and have fun!

Regularly Scheduled Community Programs

  • TTRPG Tables

A coalition of tabletop role playing groups, our TTRPG Tables aid players and game masters by helping them gain access to safe and consistent meeting spaces, expanded game rulesets, game management resources, and more! We also help our T-TRPG tables connect to the local community, find professional avenues, and more.

  • Gaming Groups

Entirely open to the public and free to join, our Gaming Groups program provides community members with an accepting, neutral space where anyone can come and bond over the joys of gaming. Attendees are invited to utilize our Inventory of Games or bring their own favorites to share! Programming times and locations can be found below.

  • Magic the Gathering Nights

Magic fans rejoice, we are now meeting for weekly Friday Night Magic! Our Magic the Gathering community takes the time to play, deck-build, and draft. Formats common to the local playgroups include Commander, Casual 60-Card, Modern, and Legacy, but attendees are encouraged to bring decks of any formats. The Putnam County Gaming Initiative also has decks and cards for attendees to borrow.

Other Events

We host a number of events in addition to our regular programs. These events are primarily aimed at supporting local businesses, creating recreation opportunities, and raising funds for our programs.

Our events don’t meet on the same regular schedule that some of our other programs do, but generally operate on a monthly basis. Upcoming events can be found on our “Schedule” page

Burgers and Boardgames

Burgers and Boardgames is a monthly fundraising series dedicated to supporting local restaurants. Each season we select a Putnam County restaurant partner to host a game night where we provide access to our inventory and volunteers to create a night of entertainment that the whole community can enjoy. Check our schedule to find the next one!

Dinners to Die For

Dinners to Die For is a fundraising series that utilizes Mystery Dinner events to support local businesses and highlight Putnam County amenities. Each dinner features a different community partner, theme, and ticket price. Tickets are limited, and on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can find upcoming dinners, and additional details, under our Fundraisers page.
