Dinners to Die For

Murder Mystery Fundraisers

“Dinners to Die For” is a fundraising program that aims to provide the community with local recreational opportunities, strengthen community connections, and support local businesses - all while raising funds for our other Tabletop Role-Playing programs!

Each dinner is a ticketed event that you can sign up for by following the instructions below. Attendees should anticipate 2-3 hours of dinner, games, and intrigue. Food is included in the price of each ticket, and ticket price may vary by event. Each murder mystery will have its own theme, and guests are welcome to dress for the theme if desired.

“Hark people of Axminster! The Autumn Carnival arrives at our door!

The season of celebration arrives along with an invitation - a masquerade ball hosted by the local aristocracy. Despite his recent health concerns, Mr. Olivaceous Wicken has invited the local townsfolk to his private lounge in celebration of the year’s harvest and the general spirit of revelry. His staff prepares drinks and food aplenty, though it appears that some members in attendance may be prone to get carried away by their merriment. Will the night persist peacefully, or will the spirit of revelry cause untoward chaos? There is only one way to find out who is capable of resisting the call - you’ll just have to see for yourself…”

Event Details

This exciting installment of our Dinners to Die For series partners with The Whisk for their annual “Mixology and Murder”, a local favorite that leaves each guest with not only an incredible experience, but a one-of-a-kind cocktail recipe to use at home! Ticket price includes food and one complimentary drink. Costumes are heavily encouraged and character details will be emailed out prior to the event. The Whisk is an superb support network for local community endeavors, and we are incredibly excited to chip in to help them with this event. A Local Murder History

“Curious about local spirits, hauntings, and grim history? Now you can ask the players of local history yourself!

Immerse yourself in the artifacts of the Putnam County Museum as you wander through pathways of lore, interrogate actors about their past, and try to guess the correct details of their life. Friendly for all ages, costumes not required”

Event Details

We are excited to offer this opportunity for families to explore the local museum! Entry will be paid at the door and attendees will invited in to wander through trails with local exhibits, actors, and more. Entry will include a snack plate for each guest and a lounge area will be available. Each group will receive a scavenger hunt list and correct guesses about actors’ stories will enter guests into a sweepstakes for the event.

The Putnam County Museum is a wonderful facility dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Putnam County, Indiana. In addition to this incredible event, they also host a number of other events throughout the year, and are an excellent resource for learning more about the surrounding area.
